Continental Saigon 

NO POOL despite photos on google maps review from January 2025 2nd floor courtyard balcony room. Pros: Excellent central location by the opera house. Lots of restaurants in the area at all price points. Easy walk to the waterfront and water bus. Good breakfast; not all as fresh as it could be. Nice fruit and Asian dishes plus the standard European type offerings. Good price. We paid about $100 per night. Cons: Thin walls. We have a screaming baby next door. Lots of noise from the courtyard activities and air conditioners located on the courtyard balconies, so a courtyard balcony room is not great. Breakfast is served in the courtyard starting at 6:30am so noisy starting then. We are on the 2nd floor. Normally that would be good except here we have a view of the awnings that seem to be down all of the time for our room. 1st floor might be better for a courtyard room with a view into the courtyard trees. Can’t have the window or door open or enjoy the (tiny) balcony with all the noise. Everything is dated. Bathroom sink drain won’t stay open. Weird and very old medicine cabinet. Nowhere to hang a hand towel near the sink. No outlets convenient to the bed for electronics. Closest outlet plugs fall out but you can get some good sparks. Luckily an extension cord is provided. Only one bedside table with weird light controls, one of which doesn’t work. Some strange and filthy wiring behind.

Nachádza sa priamo pred budovou opery, takže je vhodný na prepravu a ľahko si prehliadnete pamiatky. Tiež som mohol pohodlne zostať v malebnej budove. Raňajky boli chutné☺
