Asia Pattaya Hotel 

The hotel has become older compared to modern amenities. Rooms are also not sound proof as anything going in the nearby room is audible. Needs renovation. However the location of the hotel with a private beach & swimming pool is great. Also one golf court & tennis court is available where equipment is given on rent. One massage shop is also available on campus. Breakfast also doesn't have many Indian options. Prices should be lower compared to services.

It's difficult to rate this one. On the one hand its location and facilities are great. Having a good quality beach right next to your hotel is a rarity in Pattaya. It is a quiet place, offering some respite from the hustle and bustle of the city proper, which is only a 10 minute motorbike (or taxi) ride away. However, there are some caveats. The hotel itself is gigantic and feels like a small town with its hundreds of rooms on 7 floors. It was built quite some time ago, and it shows. The bathroom feels really dated, and the AC, in particular, was way too loud for a quiet night. On top of that, someone thought it was a great idea to conduct maintenance work at 9 a.m. The beds, however, are super comfortable, the pool area is great, as is the on-site cafe. So, really a mixed bag. The price is certainly right, so perhaps you should check it out and decide for yourself.

There are many, many reasons why this hotel should be a terrible experience. There is no nice way of saying this - the hotel is very, very old. And, it looks it. But somehow, after the initial eyebrow-raising reaction to the dated appearance of this hotel, it starts to grow on you. Pretty soon, I started to find it all quaint and charming. The location is amazing and the facilities are quite comprehensive, even if they have seen many seasons. The hotel has its own beach - this alone makes it worth the price. The staff are engaged and do their best to look after all the guests. We were so happy with the hotel that we decided to stay a few more days. For what it is, and for what it charges, this hotel is a little gem.
