Väčšinu hotela tvorí súkromný Airbnb. Zarezervovali sme si jedno s názvom „Spektakulárne plážové štúdio s nádherným výhľadom na západ slnka“. Ea bola úplná katastrofa. Museli sme zmeniť hotel a zostali sme s nákladmi. Všetko bolo špinavé a rozbité Celá budova má pravdepodobne veľké problémy so švábmi. Všetko bolo veľmi spustnuté. Bazén je jediná vec, ktorá bola v poriadku. Nie je tu takmer žiadna pláž a vedľa je obrovské stavenisko. Aj náš byt bol postihnutý plesňou, v izbe boli šváby aj jašterice a všetko bolo na nízkej úrovni. Takmer všetky reštaurácie v okolí sú prístupné len pre hotelových hostí. Celková poloha dosť zlá. Skôr by som hľadal niečo na severe hotelovej zóny.

I don’t even know where to begin describing how absolutely horrendous this place is. It is beyond me how this establishment dares to call itself an “all-inclusive resort.” From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was a colossal mistake. The so-called “buffet” is laughable, with a pitiful selection of maybe 5 or 6 dishes total—none of which were appetizing or fresh.
The Wi-Fi? Forget about it. It doesn’t work in any of the rooms, and to make matters worse, cell service is nonexistent. If you’re hoping to stay connected or reach anyone, you’re completely out of luck. To top it off, not a single staff member speaks even a word of English, making any attempt at resolving issues utterly futile.
The condition of the hotel itself is appalling. It feels like it hasn’t been updated—or even cleaned—in decades. The rooms are old, damp, and reek of mold, making it nearly unbearable to stay in them for even a few minutes. Adding to the discomfort, there were no towels provided in the rooms—just another glaring oversight in a long list of failures.
Within the first hour of being there, every single person in my group was desperate to leave. The place was so miserable that we genuinely felt more comfortable at home. In fact, one of my friends started searching for flights back home almost immediately. It was that bad.
After just an hour or two, we couldn’t take it anymore and decided to leave. We spent the rest of the evening driving from hotel to hotel, begging for last-minute availability until we finally found somewhere else to stay. We left and never looked back. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid Solymar Hotel at all costs. It’s not just a bad resort—it’s an outright nightmare.
