Very nice all inclusive adult resort. Service, food, and property are very good. We attended a nieces wedding and we were very happy with the wedding and all the other services.

First AI experience and it did not disappoint. Secrets Akumal is a beautiful resort. The property is clean, lush, and manicured constantly. The pools are big and inviting and chairs easily found. Especially the "quiet" pool - so relaxing with the spa music playing to chill out. The beach area is busy, but the staff can usually find some chairs for you. Shade is abundant and the beach is clean and you can snorkel right off the beach. Overall service exceeded expectations. Every member of the staff is "at your service" and will do whatever they can to help you. Food at restaurants was excellent both in presentation and taste. The shining star however, is the buffet at the Market Cafe. Wow. Literally hundreds of options in there! So good and plentiful! Don't pass on the buffet -we almost did, especially for breakfast. Look to see when the free guided bike ride is (normally $45 but free on some days) and get there 30 mins early. They only let 20 people go. The one thing lacking is the entertainment- the "shows" are not the strong point of this resort. More like an amateur talent show. From the fire dancers, to the Voice to the surprisingly distasteful burlesque sex show. Skip those altogether. We left 10 mins in to each one of those. I hear the Pirate show is the good one, and unfortunately we were not there that night. Don't get lured in for the "breakfast meeting" or "lunch meeting" either. Waste of time and it's just like a timeshare presentation. Spend your limited time enjoying the resort. Would totally go back for a stress free relaxing vacation.

La ubicación es excelente,la playa muy linda es un lugar ideal para descansar la comida es buena,solo lo único a mejorar es lo de unlimited club que no presionen con el desayuno ya que no son 90 minutos ,es mucho mas tiempo entonces decidimos no asistir ,fuimos a descansar y tratar de desconectar de la rutina, pero de ahí en mas puras maravillas del hotel, la limpieza excelente,los meseros todos fueron amables

Úžasný zážitok. Všetko o Secrets Akumal splnilo očakávania a ešte viac. Hotel a areál sú úplne ohromujúce. Služba je neuveriteľná a zábava, ktorú poskytuje animačný personál, je jediná svojho druhu. Všetci zamestnanci boli viac ako nápomocní, priateľskí a nemohli pre hostí urobiť dosť. Maximillian, Carlos a Carla boli skvelí v tíme zábavy. Pán v plážovom bare bol skvelý výrobca kokteilov a služba bola vždy bezchybná. Cruz pracoval ako čašník na pláži, bol skvelý a vždy nás dopĺňal jedlom a nápojmi a vždy sa prihlásil. Milovali sme zábavu pri zážitku z teppenyaki, ďakujeme Alfonsovi a Adolfovi. Ďakujem každému zamestnancovi, ktorý pracuje v Secrets Akumal, pretože každý, koho sme stretli, urobil tento zážitok neuveriteľným.

K najväčším lákadlám okrem kvalitných služieb patrí koralový útes priamo pri hoteli. Celý deň sa tu dá snorchlovať a vidieť korytnačky. Akumal bay je vzdialená asi hodinu cesty z letiska v Cancúne. Ubytovanie prebehne rýchlo na veľmi príjemnej recepcii. Areál je pomerne rozsiahly, ale po chvíli sa zorientujete. V areáli sa nachádza niekoľko bazénov a veľkých jacuzzi.
