Not sure how this place got such good reviews. So far this place was a disaster. Tomorrow is our last night here and we can't wait to leave. Communication: This place is extremely unorganized and you can tell they have poor communication. After we got checked into our room, we noticed there were ants on two of the desks and walls. We called concierge and asked to change rooms. They instead got someone to come in our room to spray Raid or some bug killer spray. So now, we have dead ants (that they never cleaned up) in our room and the rooms just smelled like chemicals. We went to concerige and they told us there's nothing we can do since all rooms are filled and to write up a complaint for the next morning supervisor. So we slept in a room full of dead ants and chemical spray our first night. Next morning, Front desk told us we will be moved to Villa 32 which has a nice beach view and top floor so all we had to do is leave our bags so they can move them and come back at 3pm to "check in" for access. This was at 10am when they told us. At 3pm when we went to front desk, the told us we don't have you listed for a move and don't know what we were told and who told us. So literally for 5 hours nothing was done and we don't have Villa 32 anymore because it was full. What made this funnier was they asked us to identify the staff by photo and name, who told us about the move because there were 2 females that worked guest services and they couldn't figure out who. They eventually moved us to another Villa but we told them to do it NOW since we need to leave in an hr. It's like we had to babysit them to get things right. Services: On top of Communications as stated above, their service is incredibly slow. So they told us all rooms were filled and we had to go back and sleep in a room filled with dead ants and chemical smell, they told us they were going to have someone come to clean the room before we got back. That's was 10pm. Well, we got back to the room, waited so long that we fell asleep and the front desk called at 11:38pm to tell us to let the staff come in to clean. 1 HOUR and 38 MINS LATER to come clean after a complaint. I told them we're tired from our plane ride and trip here so nevermind, I need sleep. As you can see, service was always a "catch up" and never "Hey, how can I make it better". They don't offer to compensate you for anything for their mistakes. It's always they try to fix the first problem but can't get the basics right. They had the audacity to try to get us the Privileged Club talk for premium services. They need to get basic services right before trying to get me to pay for "better service". Food: The food was terrible. Everything was either too sweet or had no flavor. The first restaurant we tried was Mexican Tequila- which we had to use 1 of the 2 pass for dine in service. So it turns out it was a buffet when we got there. And the food was terrible! How do you make Mexican food taste that bad in Mexico!?!?! The other (default) buffet was decent but very inconsistent- everything from texture to flavor and drinks. Oh and the drinks- I don't know if they just add water and syrup but nothing tastes right. Privileged Club? Yea right, I'm just glad tomorrow is our last night here because we won't be coming back. Our friends stayed here- one room had mold in the bathroom. We'll certainly remember this experience, that's for sure. They got 5 stars for location because it was on the beach- that's it. Everything else sucked. Here are some photos of the dead ants in our room- too bad I cleaned up some before I started taking photos. Didn't know I had to do the staff's job too.

By FAR the best experience I have had at an all inclusive. EVERYONE was seriously so amazing and welcoming. But two bartenders that stood out were (pool) and Juan (center) Both of them honestly made mine and my friends trip and we made sure to see them everyday and night for our drinks. Their hospitality and friendliness made us know we picked the right resort. we also absolutely LOVED Luis and Emmanuel. Just amazing sweet people. Then there were two people specifically from the food side we absolutely LOVED. Our server fransisco and Emilia from the buffet were just ANGELS. every morning for breakfast they were so attentive and just genuinely cared about you. We all talked about life and just got to know each other. They were just the best people!! As I stated. I have been to ALOT of All inclusive places and this by far takes the cake just but the staff alone. It is just a plus the place is beautiful. I would highly recommend this place and PLEASE see this staff especially 💛. LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL.
