A beautiful view. A place where it is quiet and the waves are pretty

Izba je veľká a v poriadku, rovnako ako kúpeľňa. Centrálna klimatizácia trochu hlučná. Rezort je trochu starý. Ale skvelá poloha priamo na pláži. Personál priateľský. Veľa parkovacích miest

Friendly staff, there are free sunbeds for the customers. A section of the beach is dedicated for customers of the resort. Takes only a min to walk from my room to the pool and the beach. A few restaurants nearby. You need to have a scooter/car or call taxi to bring you (ask for round trip) to the main street or other nice beaches like the Coconut beach and White Sand Beach. Room is dated but U can start gaze at night and it is so close to the beach. No complaints.

The hotel is a very nice place if you want a quiet and picturesque vacation. Located in the jungle, near a picturesque beach of Khao Lak. The territory is nice and clean, nicely maintained. Each room is in fact a small bungalow with a nice balcony. My friend and I we stayed at a AC room, closer to the shore area. Enjoyed my stay there 100%. A few things that might help you, if you’d like to stay there: - stairs. There’s no elevator and to get to the room and road you have to go up and down the stairs, approx like 3-4 floors. - pool. Ther pool is rather small, but definitely recommend the beach nearby. The pool is cleaned every day, and has chlorine in it. The hotel itself doesn’t have it’s own beach, the one you see is rocky and you can’t swim there. To get to the beach you go through the territory of a nearby hotel. The walk to the beach is open from 7am to 7pm. - rooms are cleaned every day, it’s a huge plus and also towels are changed every day. Rooms have AC and a ceiling fan, as well as WiFi and TV with Netflix and YouTube on it (login into your account). - awesome staff! People there are super friendly and helpful! - the nearest restaurants are approx 1 km walk. The walk is by the roadside, but it’s pretty safe to walk even at night, lots of lights and it’s separated from the road itself. Getting a tuktuk or grab taxi to the “city center” (near McDonald’s) is approx 150-200 baht. You should check out P’Ann, Qcumber, Delicasy if you’re there. Also next door to the hotel is an awesome coffee place - Valhalla. The view from it is stunning. The hotel is located in the jungle so some small animals are there as well, but nothing scary or poisonous. At night you can hear some hiccup-like sounds - is geckos :) but a bug repellent is recommended. Going to sleep while hearing the waves rushing to the shore is perfect. We met 3 cute cats in the premises, hope they’ll stay there. There’s no party zone or dance floor and even music whatsoever if it’s what you looking for in a place of stay. Baan Krating is for you in you want to enjoy nature and you’re prepared for medium long walks.

Ohromujúci hotel. Raňajky nie sú až na nulu....omelety však boli veľmi dobré. Osvetlenie mimo miestností je slabé a dvere sa nedajú ľahko otvoriť. Inak úžasné letovisko s krásnymi bazénmi a plážami. Masáže boli 5 z 5. Určite sa vrátime.

Vlastne klenot! Z izby počuť šumenie mora a vidieť ho aj z balkóna. Samozrejme, že domy tu a tam potrebujú renováciu, ale aj cena je správna! Raňajky sú tiež trochu chudobné, ale vedľa vo Valhalle môžete dostať naozaj vynikajúcu kávu a mega koláče za nehorázne ceny.

Zostali sme v hoteli od konca septembra do polovice 24. októbra, poloha je sen, toľko prírody je úžasné.

Krásne a pohodlné izby, hneď vedľa pláže. Priateľský personál a pekná reštaurácia. Určite odporúčam!
