Worse resort experience I've ever had! My family and I encountered SEVEN (7) ROACHES in NINE (9) DAYS! The general attitude with the staff we complained to was, "I'll speak to my supervisor and get back to you." Also, my 7 yr old daughter and I were subjected to showering in cold water our last 4 nights of the trip. A staff member came by to fix the problem. When he was done, he advised me that if the problem continues, run the hot water in the shower, the two bathroom sinks, and the bathroom tub until it warms up. That trick never worked! As far as resolutions, they went from asking us if we wanted to switch from one ROACH-infested room to another ROACH-infested room. Then they offered to give us 3 nights off of 1 of the 2 ROACH-infested rooms or 3 free nights on a future stay (WHAT?? A "FUTURE" STAY??). Then they offered 30% off the entire bill. We wrote to their corporate office and explained to them that we were willing to pay for our first night and wanted to leave their campus on Day #2, but they had already debited the entire $5800 and told us that it would take SIX (6) WEEKS to receive a refund. Hyatt corporate's final offer was 50% off of $5800 and their stance was basically take it or leave it! The sad thing is they KNOW they have a ROACH problem and act as if this is new news. One of their hospitality personnel informed us that they were aware of their ROACH problem and switched exterminators a week prior to our stay. We are VERY disappointed in the way how the Hyatt Ziva handled our situation. I caught THREE (3) of the SEVEN (7) ROACHES and brought them to their front desk so they can see for themselves. Imagine having to go to sleep knowing that ROACHES may potentially crawl all over your body while you're asleep. Even though the service was terrible in regard to management, all the other people were GREAT (All of the restaurant staff members where we dined, the groundsmen, the entertainment staff, the Jerk Hut crew, and definitely the women at the Kids Club)!! We were there from September 11-19, 2024. My girl and her son occupied Room 2230, but after encountering THREE (3) ROACHES, they moved across the hall to Room 2229 where they encountered THREE (3) MORE ROACHES. My 7 yr old daughter and I occupied Room 2234 where we encountered ONE (1) ROACH and 4 nights of cold water. I have attached pictures for your viewing pleasures. I also have two videos, but I am unable to upload them onto this review. AND WE'RE STILL WAITING ON A PROPER REFUND OFFER!!!!

Food is terrible you can’t get a reservation at any restaurant. Room service was ordered several times and came at 2am and woke us. We can’t swim at the beach as the ocean is too rocky with large large rocks. There is no shuttles to other Rius they say you can go to the other hotels but didn’t mention it was kids only. $150 taxi and we were screwed. All around do not recommend this hotel we are here until Sunday.

I am writing specifically to commend two persons 1. Mikki-Ann, our waitress at the Mexican Restaurant and 2.Judith, Housekeeping. Mikki-Ann was absolutely professional, warm and knowledgeable of the menu. She added value to our meal. Mikki could tell us what food and drinks were recommended and all that she recommended was delicious. She was excellently trained and is clearly an asset to the hotel. I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the outstanding service provided by Judith. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that she takes immense pride in her] work. The cleanliness of my room was beyond impeccable. What truly stood out was her friendly demeanor and warm hospitality.

My husband and I stayed at the princess grand hotel November of 2024 for a wedding and had the most amazing time. the Cinery was amazing it was aesthetic and the staff are amazingly awesome. The room was to die for so beautiful with an esthetic view... This hotel.is an all inclusive food and drinks. At the wedding we needed a babysitter for our daughter and the hotel provide one for us. Her name is shanique and she was so easy to work with very well spoken, gentle with our daughter overall she did an amazing job we felt safe with her and couldn't ask for a better babysitter. I definitely give her a 5 🌟 rate and will request her again the next time we visit the hotel with our daughter. Most importantly our daughter felt very comfortable with her and that's an A+ for me. Thank you Shanique job will done.

This is not a 5 star venue - it’s 4 star at best. Standards not great. The management is very lacking and invisible. We had a very enjoyable time despite the poor weather- which is meant to be guaranteed this time of year. Lovely beach although it is North facing so you don’t see a sunrise or sunset and don’t face the sun! Stand out staff member was Jevon at the pool bar!

Overall great stay. The rooms are outdated and kinda musty but after running the AC for a day the musty smell subsided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone was very respectful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was good. There is night time activities/ entertainment. Food overall was good. The buffet was surprisingly very good. The lunch restaurant on the beach has great jerk chicken. The Suites side is alot nicer and I would recommend an upgrade to that side as Beach does not have room service and less restaurants. Overall great value for your money. Kid friendly!

We just spent 5 days at Sandals Royal Caribbean. The resort is very quiet. There were several standouts at the resort. First, the service is amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. When we arrived on Thanksgiving day, my husband asked the buffet chef if there was jerk turkey on the menu. He said let me see what I can do. He immediately came back with a plate of turkey covered in jerk gravy. The bartenders remembered what we were drinking and were happy to serve them every time. Shawne was by far the best. He has such a great personality and really made us feel like he appreciated us being there. Another standout is the food. It was delicious everywhere we went. The servers were all very conscious off food allergies and asked if there were any allergies. They took special care to provide options to separate foods. A third standout was the accommodations. When we arrived, the room they showed us was supposed to have an ocean view but there was a tree right in front of our balcony. They quickly changed our room without a problem. Our room was beautiful and well maintained. It was cleaned promptly and supplies replaced daily. The entertainment was mixed. Some of it was amazing like the beach party and the dancers but the rest of it was just ok. We really had two basic complaints, First, there is a shuttle that takes guests from the Royal Caribbean to the Sandals Montego Bay to enjoy the amenities of both locations. That is a great perk, but the shuttle only runs once an hour and the trip only takes 5 to 8 minutes! We had a 6:00 reservation for dinner but had to get ready at 4:00 in order to leave at 5:00 then sit around until 6:00 just to make the reservation. Every time the shuttle came, there were so many people waiting to board that they had to make two trips. They really need another shuttle run or run that one more frequently. Then there is an extra 45 minutes break in the height of the dinner time from 8:15-9:00. This makes it really hard if you want to come back for the show that starts at 8:00. The other complaint is about the bars. The number of bars that were open at any time was very limited and most of the outdoor bars only offered low end spirits and really sweet drinks which is a problem if you are sitting in the sun all day. They hotel publicizes premium spirits but that was very limited and they ran out of the best stuff a lot. Overall, it was a pretty good vacation
