The Fives Oceanfront recenzie 

There’s nothing 5 star about this hotel. The outside of the building is falling apart, they seem to be understaffed, espresso machine at the coffee shop is broken, not enough towels or chairs for all of the guests. We woke up at 6:30 to get a beach chair (no sleeping in on this vacation!) and they were all taken. The room has a kitchenette but all of the utensils, dinnerware, and cookware are locked away unless you pay 500 pesos. The food at the restaurant is often cold and undercooked. We waited over an hour for lunch one day and finally gave up. We booked a 1 BR to use the pullout couch in the LR. The couch is so uncomfortable that it’s unusable so our family of 4 is sleeping in one bed. The side tables in the bedroom tip over when you open them. There were crumbs and dead bugs under the living room chair cushions. Almost every time we requested to have something sent up to the room (towels, hangers) they never came and required at least one follow up. There were days when we asked to have our room cleaned only to come back hours later and it not be done. It feels like we’ve spent half of our trip figuring out a new plan for the day when there are no beach or pool loungers, or finding somewhere else for coffee/food when not available at the hotel, or chasing the staff to assist with something. When I’ve mentioned our disappointment to the staff, the response has been ‘sorry, lady’ or ‘it’s busy season.’ We should have taken the other negative reviews seriously. We will not be returning.
