Po nastúpení na palubu sa potom odveziete opačným smerom k inému terminálu, aby ste vyzdvihli ďalších hostí a až o 90 minút neskôr konečne odídu z letiska! Manažment: keď sme sa sťažovali manažérovi hotelovej služby Antoniovi na tieto a ďalšie problémy, vysmial sa nám do tváre.

Disastrous Experience at The Royalton Riviera Cancun We are long-time loyal Marriott guests and Gold Elite members (410****)and have always loved the consistency, quality, and service of Marriott properties. Unfortunately, our recent stay at The Royalton Riviera Cancun was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. We chose this property for a special family vacation, planned to celebrate my 44th birthday and 17th wedding anniversary, and extended it to include the Thanksgiving holiday. What we expected to be a memorable and enjoyable trip turned into a health hazard and constant frustration. Major Issues: Health and Sanitation: My entire family became extremely ill during the stay and will need medical attention upon returning home. The hotel’s hygiene standards were appalling, with dirty bathrooms showing visible stains on walls, floors, and toilet seats. Bottled water was not readily available, which further contributed to the health concerns. Unmet Accessibility Needs: Despite booking this trip seven months in advance and requesting a low-floor room due to my lumbar spine disability, this simple accommodation was ignored. Unresponsive and Poor Service: When we reported our concerns to staff (specifically Roberto), follow-up was minimal. He either ignored our messages or said he was unavailable due to being off-duty. Out of desperation, we reached out to Bonvoy’s Facebook account, which responded quickly but failed to resolve any of the issues. Smoking Policy Violations and Environment: Despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, smoking was rampant poolside. We have photos of guests being served drinks while chain-smoking, which made it impossible to enjoy fresh air as we tried to recover from illness. The pervasive foul smell throughout the property made our stay even more uncomfortable. What We Expected vs. Reality: We selected this property because of its designation as a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, expecting it to embody the artistic and cultural standards Marriott is known for. Instead, this hotel fell drastically short of Marriott’s reputation, with substandard facilities, poor communication, and unsanitary conditions. Recommendation: I strongly caution anyone considering this property to reconsider. We’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels worldwide and have never experienced anything remotely as bad as this. Marriott needs to reassess whether The Royalton Riviera Cancun deserves to carry its name.

Stay here from 12-5-25 to 12-09-24 for my birthday weekend not what I thought a 5 star resort would be like. The whole hotel smells like sewage specially around the buffet, I was on the diamond side which is no different from the regular side. There is nothing premium about it the drinks are water down, you don’t even get alcohol in your room besides beer. The restaurant are okay but nothing special about it. The buffet food is okay if you can handle the smell of sewage while you eat. Not a place to relax every place you turn they are trying to sell you a spa day, excursion, pictures or whatever else’s they can. I thought by being in the diamond side I was going to have exclusivity to premium drinks but is not the case they try to sell you everything even a coconut 🥥 to drink. Not sure why they have the diamond club if there is not benefit in it, the only thing I can say is that our butler Angelica was great she was able to get us reservations at the restaurant on the times we requested. The rooms are outdated and need to be updated the sofa beds were dirty and very uncomfortable everything seem dirty my jacuzzi in my bathroom was broken. I would not recommend or go back.
