My room was very clean and modern. The view of the ocean is amazing. My favorite restaurant was the Asian!! Food is amazing there. I also tried the steakhouse which wasn't bad. My trip was short but it's a very quiet resort, not a party resort. Great for relaxation.

We’ve been to this hotel twice and every time has been spectacular. The service is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming and accommodating. The shows are a pleasure to watch with a drink in your hand and the moon shining. Not to mention that all the restaurants have delicious food and a wide selection, and the hotel being kid free is a blessing

I am currently sitting in the main lobby of this RIU hotel reflecting on the last week spent at this “resort” trying to decide on if I should waste my time and leave a review or not and have come to the conclusion that I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if I didn’t at least give a warning to people about to pick this place as their destination. I’ll start with there room. (We wasted the money to be in the elite club 🤣🤣) It isn’t a bad room, far from a luxury room but also far better than a motel 6 in the states. The aroma therapy is an over powering spray of what smells like cedar wood smell every 30 minutes, the shower smells terrible, the shower head is half plugged with small rocks, sliding glass door doesn’t close all the way so you get a pleasant whistling sound when the wind blows. Which it does constantly it also lets in the refreshing rain when the wind blows just right. The noise from the person choking on the saxophone at 1030pm was soothing though. The view is excellent though and hard to complain about. The hotel staff seems to try hard for the most part, the room was cleaned and restocked every day and they left little things like rose petals and chocolates around. The bar staff and food servers all tried very hard to do their best. We tipped well and did appreciate how hard they worked. The grounds are amazing to look at, the pools are warm and the beach view is great. It is an open ocean beach and I knew that coming in so we weren’t surprised to see the surf was rough and grew with the winds. We love the sound of the waves crashing and wouldn’t have it any other way. The beach is awesome. The elite club comes with $850 usd in credits that are almost useless. They will only let you use them on coupons for a very small percentage of things. Such as a couples massage was 600usd and we could only use a 30 dollar coupon on select massages and a 10 dollar coupon on the others, the golf would be 280per person and they would only give you an 80 dollar coupon a max of 6 times. And that’s really all it’s good for. Everything we scheduled was canceled for some reason or another so we really just sat in our rooms or near a pool for the week. ***The food *** The food was absolutely terrible. All of it! And we tried it all. The room service breakfast was terrible, the fruit was all terrible, the steak house, the elite club dinner, the Asian place, the food by the pool, the coffee shop, the Italian place and the most astonishing was the Mexican food was absolutely horrible. I was blown away by the fact that there was no effort at all to even pretend like most of the food wasn’t just reheated garbage. The presentation looks good and you would assume looking at most of it that it was going to be great but you will be shocked when you eat it and realize that you’ve been had. I cannot recommend a single thing that we ate at this place. It was so terrible. I am sorry but that is the truth. We read other reviews and thought that there was no was it was that bad but the others are not kidding. Don’t plan on eating here. The mexican food places on the highway setting the place are really good though. Their drinks are crap as well. We will come back to Cancun but not another RIU property ever again.

Escolhemos esse hotel para a Lua de Mel. Excelente! Desde a recepção com Champagne, anteciparam nossa recepção e já começamos aproveitando cedo o Hotel. As instalações são bem novas e muito bonitas. Estávamos preocupados com a qualidade dos drinks e comidas já que é um Hotel bem grande, mas os Drinks sensacionais, a variedade é enormes, sem filas, sempre quando estávamos na praia ou piscina aparecia algum funcionário perguntando se gostaríamos de algo mais. Sobre a comida também não tenho o que reclamar, o restaurante do Buffet tinha uma variedade enorme e a qualidade também era sensacional. Os restaurantes temáticos tem um menu um pouco reduzido mas nada que atrapalhasse a experiência, tudo bem saboroso. Sobre as atividades, gostamos das piscinas, cada uma tem sua peculiaridade, a equipe de atividades também é bem ativa e as festas no RIUparty são ótimas. A Praia sempre bem limpa, não pegamos sargaço, tem bastante ondas no local, não é um mar calmo mas gostamos. Os quartos muito bem limpos e novos. Excelente experiência que tivemos, já estou com saudades
