TUI MAGIC LIFE Fuerteventura 

My partner and I returned last week from a bit of a last minute week long get away. I'll try and cover all grounds as much as I can. The hotel is spotless and well kept, although a little out of date in places - dinked furniture, scuffed paintwork etc but that doesn't really bother us and the level you'd expect from a 4*. The house cleaning came daily, at different times of the day, and did the basics. Our bedding was changed once during the week we stayed. Each hotel block is 3 high with lifts (there might be bigger blocks but all that were above ground seemed no more than 3 stories). The hotel is situated on a moderate hill so there are a number of slopes and steps to navigate. The main areas during the day are around one big lagoon style pool, and large pool side bar/snack bar with lots of inside/outside seating areas. We were always able to get sunbeds, at any time of day - even going out before breakfast at 8.30/9am we had our pickings of seats. Rooms have towels (in good condition), small hairdryer, TV, free of charge safe and mini fridge. No kettle or coffee making facilities in the room (I'm sure if you'd called reception they'd maybe have provided them but again we weren't bothered). Location is in the middle of nowhere, which we knew before booking, but there is an onsite shop (a small fortune, as expected) or alternatively there is a supermarket to the left of the hotel (20 mins walk) or a spar in a little shopping mall walking right along the beach (35 mins). The activities are bookable via app (must be booked a few days in advance as checking on the day they are full, and this was in winter season). This does mean that there isn't necessarily "poolside" entertainers to encourage participation, although I think that there is an area of the pool up by the radio tower that they do a poolside dance. Either way, we didn't have a single hello exchanged with any animation team member - again not something we would ever grumble about as we go on holiday to relax, however it's the first time I've ever experienced that. Central areas have lots of pool tables (€2 per game), ping pong tables and there is even a small arcade. There is an area by the pool where you can rent board games and card games should you want to. The evening entertainment was virtually non-existent. There are dance shows every other night by the animation team which are pretty much the same choreography with different outfits. They're very good, however, once you've seen one, there's no point going back. Other entertainment includes: a film shown in the theatre, a one person singer in the lobby bar, and bingo. However, there is plenty of seating around and wouldn't struggle to find somewhere to perch, as there are quite a few areas including the lobby bar to sit. The food let the hotel down quite alot. On first impression the main buffet restaurant looks huge, however every meal was incredibly repetitive - it was all very tasty, and well cooked, and all very healthy options - but again, it's been a while since I've been to an all inclusive and gotten this bored by the food. Drinks in restaurant and poolside bar are self serve (beer/wine/soft in the lunch/evenings only in buffet), and the coffee served out of the machines in the morning have all got a chocolatey taste to them. Their spirits are like paint stripper, and the cocktails taste like artificially sweetened chemicals, out of a machine! Staff were pleasant enough, but they have a roster of forever changing staff, so it felt rare to see a familiar face when being served at the bar at night or in the restaurant, even though we sat at the same table in the buffet restaurant every meal. The worst part of the holiday was the very aggressive food poisoning I had the evening after eating in the Italian a la carte, which was actually another self serve restaurant. This did rob us of two days of sun, but sometimes can't be helped. Overall, an okay stay. It very much is you get what you pay for, but if you are easily bored/not sporty and want a bit of variety, I'd recommend a car!!

Tolle Hotelanlage, sehr groß, gutes Radsportangebot und gute Auswahl beim Essen. Die negativen Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar, ein paar wackelige Fliesen beim Pool und leichte Instandhaltungsmängel gibt es, sind aber bei dieser großen Anlage und dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vertretbar. Waren 10 Tage dort und rundum zufrieden!

Für uns ein solides 3Sterne Hotel. Wir waren im November 10 Tage als Familie dort. Das Magic Life in Fuerte ist eines der älteren Hotels. Das merkt man an vielen Stellen. Vieles alt und kaputt, was sich durch die ganze Anlage zieht. Fliesen an den Pools kaputt, kaputte Kinderspielgeräte (nix mit TÜV), kaputte Fliesen auf den Wegen, in den Toiletten funktioniert auch ständig was nicht… man muss schon viel spanische Gelassenheit mitbringen für den Urlaub.

Hotel muy bien ubicado,al lado de bonita playa.hemos disfrutado de excelentes 9 días,con un servicio de comidas de buena calidad aunque no muy variada,pero bien cocinada.Habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas.Animación bien organizada,con Múltiples actividades deportivas en las que participar,con muchos horarios alternativos y niveles.No sé si por la época,pero siempre había hamacas libres y disponibilidad para las actuvidades,no se percibía saturación de otros hoteles.Muy satisfechos con la elección de este hotel.Para ir en pareja muy bien
