Grande resort beleza natural...

Our stay at this hotel was spectacular; nothing short of amazing. The staff, in particular, was phenomenal: always attentive, friendly, professional, and kind in a way hotels nowadays have forgotten to be. The facility is beautifully appointed from the grand lobby to the neutral colors of our suite, everything is meant to catch your eye without distracting from it's charm. The veranda overlooking the well-groomed grounds was breathtaking. Everything about this former monastery is meant to invoke a sense of calm and inner peace and the hotel leans into this sense of mindfulness. We were surprised with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in recognition of our anniversary...a nice touch. Breakfast was included every morning and is one of the most delectable in Europe. We toured the grounds, which are breathtaking and cannot be viewed in one day, so take your time. The gardens are a beautiful retreat and the historic buildings are charming. Margarida is a shining star who deserves special acknowledgement. She perfected our trip to Penha Longa by taking care of us at every step; her recommendations were always on point. Her service and attention to detail is what makes this facility a Ritz Carlton hotel.

I absolutely love photographing bridal sessions at Penha Longa Resort! The resort’s blend of historic charm and lush, picturesque gardens creates a dream setting for timeless portraits. The on-site castle and stunning architecture offer endless opportunities for unique and elegant backdrops, while the serene surroundings of Sintra add a touch of magic to every session. The staff are always welcoming and professional, ensuring a smooth and relaxed experience. If you’re looking for the perfect location for a bridal session, Penha Longa Resort is simply unbeatable!

We stayed at Peñha Longa for just under 2 weeks, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. During our stay, we tried pretty much all of their facilities, their restaurants, fitness, pool, spa areas, golf, walks on their grounds, everything, all fantastic, if you’re after a relaxing, fun experience! All their staff members who we came across with were very kind, helpful and genuinely wanted to make our stay very special, which they did. Just to mention some special staff members: the Breakfast Team, the Wellness Team, the Housekeeping Team, The Golf Team and the Spa Team - a massive thank you to you all from us for your kindness, attention and great sense of humour. As guests, it’s pretty frustrating to hear at the hotels when we have a request (especially if it’s something very much within reason), sorry we have to check it with our manager, but this is not the case at Peñha Longa, staff were able to make their decisions there and then upon our requests which makes everything so much nicer and easier, plus this also makes us feel well looked after.
