Had a wonderful stay in a few days. The hotel atmosphere and the ambience are amazing. The location is very accessible and the service which they provided is very good and a friendly staff's are ready to available for our needs

I am only reviewing café Maghreb as I only had lunch. ***Location*** A star for location. Great location near the CBD, opposite Uhuru Park. Easily accessible. ***Service*** Great service, but then again you sort of expect it seeing that Serena has been in the game for the longest time ever. A star for the service. ***Ambience*** A star for the Ambience. Though a bit dated, it is still a lovely place. The café theme is Ethiopian and their grounds are lovely. ***Prices*** The prices are quite high. They lose a star here. I spent almost KES 5000 so definitely not a budget friendly place. ***Food*** Everyone can get something for sure. Good portions, well presented, well seasoned. You cannot go wrong with the food. That said, there is nothing unique about the food. You can easily get the same elsewhere for a fraction of the price so no star here. ***Experience*** I got a hot chocolate with Almond milk, the double chicken breast with rice, a dawa infusion and I also had an Americano. Everything was just okay. I have had better dawa and tastier hot chocolate elsewhere. The chicken was very well seasoned, still juicy and I did enjoy it. The mushroom sauce was equally delicious. The vegetables were under seasoned though. The small things like a heated plate for the hot food, a warm towel and such definitely add to the experience. The washrooms were very clean. An automated hand towel machine is a great addition as it reduces waste. Having hand lotion in the bathroom is also very thoughtful. If you have the budget, this place is suitable for a date, lunch, dinner, staycation e. t. c. I would give it a 3.5 rating because of the prices and although the food is good, it doesn't stand out.
