Sol Arona Tenerife recenzie 

Just returned from this Sol Arona hotel after two weeks on 5th December 2024. Room 1411 was a great size with a great view of Los Cristianos beach and the mountains and resort. Our room cleaning lady was lovely and very helpful and efficient, nothing was a problem. Towels changed daily and bedding changed twice or more if requested. Housekeeping very good. Comfy firm-ish beds and clean hotel. Restaurant choice very good. Breakfast was a buffet of lots of fresh fruits, full english breakfast, ham instead of bacon though, toast, pancakes, cereals, cakes, pastries, porridge and breads. Fresh orange, iced water, tea, fruit infused water and coffee all free with half board. Great location for beach, shops, bars, restaurants and free bus outside hotel for local attractions like Siam park, Siam mall etc. Good choice of food for evening meals. Always found plenty of food we like. You have to ask for ice cream at the hot servery tho and they get it from the freezer for you. All in all a great holiday for the money. Fridge cost us extra €70 for two weeks and safety box in room was €3 per night. Eg. Pint of dorada local beer for €3.00 in most bars, lime extra @ 21 cents a shot. Free iced water at the pool bar with your free cup token. Very friendly, helpful, canny waiter called Jose Maria said he would look after us. He was interested where we were from. When I said Newcastle he said 'whey aye man'. Hard worker and very sociable man. Give that man a pat on the back from us and say hello from Nicola and Derek. All in all ....great value stay for a 3* hotel. Would return again in the future. 2 small niggles. Plug sockets loose in rooms.....care needed when unplugging devices. Currently here, this is our 4th visit, and doesn't disappoint, we had an upgrade to 11th floor, sea view we are very happy. Huge shout out to Jose Maria in the restaurant, he talks to all guests, whatever nationality and knows something of the city where they live. He is a credit to the hotel, a very friendly person
