I recently stayed at The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive. While my stay was relaxing overall, it left me feeling underwhelmed. There were both positive and negative aspects, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Check-In Experience The hotel has two check-in areas—one for The Rif and another for Mangrove. My taxi dropped me off at Mangrove, which I thought was the main check-in point. After waiting 15–20 minutes without acknowledgment, I was told my check-in was at The Rif. While the staff at Mangrove gave vague directions, the check-in process at The Rif was much smoother, with the staff there being more welcoming and helpful. Room and Amenities My room on the first floor of The Rif was clean, thoughtfully prepared, and well-stocked with amenities. Housekeeping refreshed snacks and beverages daily, and room service—though limited—was timely and convenient. The private pool on the balcony was a nice touch, and the surprise birthday cake, champagne, and cheese plate were appreciated. However, the room’s location on the first floor came with significant noise disturbances in the early mornings (around 4–5 a.m.) as guests returned to their rooms. Additionally, the patio’s proximity to the parking garage felt intrusive, even though it was partially shielded by foliage. Dining Dining was a mixed bag. The seafood restaurant was the standout—the food was delicious and worth the 40-minute wait. However, other restaurants had long lines due to the lack of a reservation system, which made the experience frustrating, especially when guests skipped ahead in line. The buffet was often overcrowded, and some restaurants were closed on Sundays, further limiting options. That said, the property’s all-inclusive nature ensured food was always available, even if the dining experience lacked organization. Property and Activities The property itself was clean and felt safe. The beach was well-maintained during the day, but the presence of rats at night on the beach and around the resort was unsettling. This made walking to restaurants in the evening an anxious experience for me, especially after witnessing them firsthand. Nightlife at the resort was another disappointment. For a property of this size, the entertainment options were minimal and lacked energy. If you’re looking for a vibrant resort with plenty of evening activities, this is not the place. Tours and Excursions One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was trying to book a city tour. There was one particular tour—a full city tour—that was only offered on Tuesdays and Fridays. I arrived at the tour desk early in the morning to try to book the 9 a.m. excursion, but the tour desk agent arrived over 30 minutes late. This delay caused me to miss the tour I had been looking forward to. While other tours were available, the limited scheduling and lack of promptness from the staff were disappointing. Ultimately, I ended up booking a private tour for a higher price, which allowed me to customize the experience and explore the city at my own pace. Staff and Service The staff were generally friendly but appeared overwhelmed by the demands of the all-inclusive environment. Housekeeping was consistent, and the property was well-maintained overall, but some staff interactions felt rushed or inattentive. Would I Recommend It? While my stay wasn’t terrible, it didn’t meet my expectations. The long dining lines, noisy first-floor rooms, lack of vibrant nightlife, and frustrating experience with the tour desk agent all detracted from my overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for a laid-back experience with clean facilities and easy city access, this property might work for you. However, if you value vibrant nightlife, seamless dining experiences, and reliable excursion options, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. I rate The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive 3 out of 5 stars.

Muy buena las instalaciones. Muy bien la comida mucha variedad. Mucha entrenamiento y muchas estaciones para comer y beber. Tambien es una lugar tranquilo y puedes disfrutar de la naturaleza. Tambien me aparece muy bien opciones de cena.

The mangrove resort is amazing, the workers are very helpful and are always willing to help. The guest ambassador ray was very helpful.The bar was amazing the beach was amazing as well as room service.i highly recommend this resort.

Het hotel is heerlijk en het personeel is prima. De pool is ook heerlijk en rustig. De strand is ook perfect. Omer was super kind and takes lovely pictures and Ray helped us with a lot of recommendations and brought us the hotel signature drink the mangrove sunrise.
